I would like to pass on some very bad news for Dartford Scouts.

June Parker sadly passed away on Saturday morning aged 86.

She had served the Movement for 43 years and started Scouting in November 1972 with the 8th Dartford Scout Group

June held ACSL, CSL, SL, Group Chair roles and was ACSL until about a month before she passed away.

She has held the appointment as ADC (CS) from 1983 until 1995.

She has also been District Secretary form 1995 until 2014.

She was awarded Medal of Merit 1988, Silver Acorn 1998 and the Silver Wolf in April 2005.

June was also made an Honorary Scouter in September 2001.

We will keep you informed of arrangements.

Important information - We are returning to Central Park!

Please find all the information for JOTT this year here

We are pleased to be able to finish this years JOTT back into Central Park. As per normal we are also looking for groups with minibuses or willing volunteers to help transport drivers back to the start points. We are also looking for help at the finishing line to take registration forms and to distribute badges and snacks. Please contact Andy if you can help.

    See you all there
